How Bentegy Theatre collects, uses and protects data about website visitors, audiences and donors.
Who is responsible
NGO “V RESURSI” (EDRPOU 44977435), the organisation through which Bentegy Theatre operates. For any question about personal data, write to theatre@bentegy.org.
What data we receive
Visit statistics. The site uses Google Analytics 4: how many people visit pages, where they come from, which cities and devices they use and which buttons they click (tickets, donations, email, social media). The data is anonymised: we see the overall picture, not individuals. For visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, statistics are switched on only after consent in the banner at the bottom of the page. Other visitors can opt out in the same banner.
Tickets and donations. Payments happen on the secure pages of WayForPay and Concert.ua. Card details are processed only by these payment services and never reach us. From the service we receive your name, email, phone and order details — to admit you to the performance, contact you about changes and report to donors and funders.
Emails and messages. When you write to us by email or on social media, we keep the correspondence to reply and continue our cooperation.
Hosting. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub keeps technical request logs (including IP addresses) for the security of its service.
Why we use the data
- selling tickets and admitting audiences;
- processing charitable donations and reporting on them;
- replying to your emails and requests;
- understanding how people find the theatre, and improving the site and our advertising.
We use the data for these purposes only and share it only with the services listed on this page.
Cookies
Google Analytics stores the _ga and _ga_* cookies. The site also remembers your choice in the consent banner (the bentegy-consent entry in your browser). Change your analytics choice.
How long we keep data
Google Analytics statistics are kept for 14 months. Ticket and donation records are kept for as long as accounting and reporting law requires. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for our cooperation.
Your rights
Under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” (and, for visitors from the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) you can ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw consent or object to processing. Write to theatre@bentegy.org and we will reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
